UP International Trade Show 2026 Set to Boost Uttar Pradesh’s Global Trade Ambitions

Lucknow: In a significant step towards Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s vision of transforming Uttar Pradesh into a trillion-dollar economy, the state government is preparing to host the UP International Trade Show (UPITS) 2026, a flagship event aimed at connecting the state’s products, services, technology, and innovations with global markets.

Building on the success of its previous three editions, UPITS has emerged as a premier platform for showcasing Uttar Pradesh’s industrial strength and entrepreneurial potential. The event is expected to create new growth opportunities for industries, micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), startups, exporters, and investors while enhancing the state’s global business footprint.

According to official estimates, more than 2,400 exhibitors are expected to participate in the trade show. The event is also likely to attract over 550 international buyers from 85 countries, underscoring its growing international appeal. In addition, more than 1.5 lakh domestic B2B buyers are expected to attend, while the overall footfall, including visitors and consumers, is projected to exceed 4.5 lakh people.

Officials believe the trade show will serve as a powerful platform for facilitating business partnerships, expanding export opportunities, and strengthening trade relations between Uttar Pradesh and international markets.

A major highlight of UPITS-2026 is the possibility of signing more than 4,000 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) during the event. The total value of these agreements is estimated to surpass ₹3,200 crore. Furthermore, the trade show is expected to generate business leads and inquiries worth over ₹13,500 crore, providing a substantial boost to the state’s economy.

The anticipated outcomes are expected to benefit a wide range of stakeholders, including MSMEs, exporters, entrepreneurs, and beneficiaries of the state’s One District One Product (ODOP) initiative. Industry experts believe that the platform will help local businesses access new domestic and international markets while encouraging innovation and competitiveness.

The mega event will be spread across approximately 1.10 lakh square metres of exhibition space, making it one of the largest trade and business exhibitions in the country. Alongside product displays and business networking sessions, the show will also highlight the Uttar Pradesh government’s industrial, export promotion, and investment-friendly policies.

Officials said the event will showcase the state’s growing infrastructure, manufacturing capabilities, and policy reforms that have positioned Uttar Pradesh as an emerging investment destination. The trade show is expected to attract both national and international investors looking to explore opportunities across sectors such as manufacturing, technology, agriculture, handicrafts, logistics, and services.

With its focus on promoting trade, investment, exports, and innovation, UPITS-2026 is poised to play a crucial role in accelerating economic growth and advancing Uttar Pradesh’s ambition of becoming a trillion-dollar economy. The event is expected to further strengthen the state’s image as a dynamic business hub and a key contributor to India’s economic development.
